I bought this computer with Snow Leopard and 4GB RAM, and the last version of Garageband. To start off with, here are my system specs: In the most recent case, I only have one running. I have tried to minimize software tracks, but even that seems to have no effect. I am not using an excessive amount of plugins, or even tracks. The activity monitor shows plenty of RAM free, and while GB uses 30% of the CPU, I have nothing else running, and so have 60% of CPU still free. For about 6 months now, I have been getting this error message in Garageband when playing back projects. None of the other threads on this topic have helped either. A while back I posted this same problem, and never got an acceptable answer or solution. ![]()
